Your children’s education is a weighty decision. We at Charis endeavor to do all we can to help you make an informed decision and our application process is designed to help parents decide if Charis is a good fit for their family.

While you can apply without having taken a tour, we recommend that the first step you take is to schedule a tour. During the tour you will meet with the Headmaster to get an overview of the school and have the opportunity to ask any and all questions you may have. You will also be able to step into classrooms and observe teachers and students alike. This is the best way to get a feel for our school. You can sign up for a tour here.

‍If you think that Charis is the school for your family, the next step is to fill out an application. There is a $100 application fee, but applying does not commit you to the school. You can fill out an application here.

As part of your application you will be asked to schedule a time for a family interview. These are with the Headmaster and last about one hour. (Note: You can schedule an interview and a tour on the same day.) Both parents are encouraged to attend and the child or children applying are required to come; other siblings are welcome to join. Students entering grades 1^st-12^th take entrance exams to ensure correct grade placement.

After completing the interview and after all references and transcripts have been received parents will be notified of their admission status. When enrollment opens to the public (which is during the first week of February every year) they will be invited to enroll. Enrolling your child secures them a spot in their respective class and commits you to Charis for the following year.

Our application deadline is July 1^st and our enrollment deadline is July 15^th.

Nota bene: We routinely have waiting lists so we highly encourage interested parents to apply as soon as possible.
